    Sensor portable dimming dimensions differ, with some measuring 3.5 x 18.52 x 19" (8.9 x 48.3 x 47 cm) and others 5.5 x 20.40 x 18". There are also some dimmers with dimensions of 6.5 x 24.52 x 20". The weight of the dimmer ranges from 30 to 36 lbs, but also depends on how it is configured. 

    Overview 

    The dimmers are devices used for controlling the intensity of a light. Control of light brightness is done by increasing or reducing the RMS voltage. The word dimmer is usually applied for devices that can control compact fluorescent (CFL) lighting, halogen and incandescent lighting. 

    The sensor portable dimming dimensions can play a part in determining what elements it can control. New units have features like pulse-width modulation to dim mercury vapor and arc lighting. 

    While some dimmers are portable, others are quite large. The large dimmers are used for architectural lighting or in theaters. The small dimmers are managed directly, although there are remote systems currently available.

    Types of Dimmers

    Development 

    Exactly when the dimmers emerged is unclear but as far back as 1890, descriptions of it were published in Granville Woods' "Safety Dimmer". The old dimmers were managed via manual manipulation of the panels. 

    However, the power had to be from a single lighting console, which made operation difficult. The problems were eliminated when the thyristor dimmers were developed. The 0-10V lighting control systems meant the units could be controlled by remote. 

    As technology improved, the devices became more powerful and smaller. This would lead to the appearance of the portable dimmers. Today’s dimmers are now able to control more lights and less difficult to run. 

    The sensor portable dimming dimensions are important, especially when they have to be transported. Aside from the size, the technical specifications of the product must also be accounted for.
