An LCR meter is a utility used to gauge impedance. However, these devices are also used to measure resistance and capacitance. During testing the object under test is subject to an AC voltage source. LCR stands for inductance, capacitance and resistance.
LCR Meter Specifications: MCP BR2822 Professional
The MCP BR2822 Professional 10KHz Digital LCR meter measures 7.9 x 1.6 x 3.7 inches. The unit is a handheld device with a microprocessor built-in. The device can gauge six parameters: these are impedance, resistance, inductance, dissipation factor, capacitance and quality factor.
The basic accuracy resolution is 0.3% & 0.01%. The parameter can be tested using the 100Hz, 120Hz, 1 KHz or 10 KHz frequencies. The measuring range is 0.1uH to 9999H for inductance, and 0.1mohm to 999.9Mohm for the impedance and resistance.
For the capacitance it is 0.1pF to 9999uF. The device is powered using a 9V rechargeable battery. The battery will be charged when AC/DC adaptors are plugged.
LCR Meter Specifications: Mastech VC9805A
The Mastech VC9805A LCR meter measures 6 x 1.5 x 3 inches. This unit is designed to be used as an LCR meter and also a multimeter. The device can measure resistance, AC/DC voltage, capacitance and current.
The Mastech VC9805A can also check the temperature and frequency. The DCV specs are: 0-200m-2-20-200±0.5%-1kV±1.0% and for ACV it is 0-2-20-200V±0.8%-700V±1.2%. The DCA specs are 0-200m±1.2%-20A±2.0% and for the ACA: 0-200m±2.0%-20A±3.0%.
The CAP specs are 0-20n-200n-2u-20uF±2.5%. The specifications for the frequency is 300Hz to 200KHz. The inductance specs are 0-2m-20m-200m-2H-20H±2.5%. The temperature range is C: -40 C – 1000 C F: -0 F – 1832 F. The audible continuity is <90ohm. The unit comes with a thermo probe and test leads.
LCR Meter Specifications: Mastech Sinometer Professional
The Mastech Sinometer Professional SE8280 measures 6 x 1.5 x 3 inches. This LCR bridge can gauge dissipation factor, inductance and capacitance. Its vector measuring technology allows for separation of the resistance from reactance.
The capacitance specs are: 200p/2nF/20nF/200nF/2uF ±0.50%- ±2.0%. The capacitance dissipation factor is 0~1.999 and the accuracy is 1%+10+2000/Cx(2nF<Cx<2u), 2%+20+2000/Cx ( F2uF<Cx<2mF). The inductance dissipation factor is 0~1.999 with an accuracy of lX<200mH (1%+10+2000/Lx.
There is also an AC/DC adaptor included in the package. Other features include four terminal test mode, 9-Range Cap 0-20mF and 8-Range Inductance 0-200H.
LCR Meter Specifications: BK Precision LCR Meter
The BK Precision LCR Meter has numerous test frequencies including 100 Hz, 120 Hz, 1 kHz and 10 kHz. The capacitance range is 1,000pF – 10mF and the resistance range is 10Ω – 10 MΩ. The inductance specs are 1mH – 10,000H.
The unit comes with an extra fuse and test lead. There is also an AC power adapter, Relative and Tolerance modes. The BK Precision LCR Meter can gauge in parallel or series mode. It can display the dissipation factor and also the measured values.
