The following is a list of the most common freight container dimensions used today. While it’s true that some companies make custom boxes, these have been designed as the standard for air freight containers by the IATA.

Standard Air Freight Container Sizes: LD1, LD2 and LD3

The containers are known by the LD number. LD-1 is 92.0 niches wide and 64.0 inches high. The depth is 60.4 inches and the base is 61.5 inches. The maximum load is 3500 lbs (that is ~1588 kg). The shape is Type A.
